Supported email senders
Wepy currently supports SMTP and SendGrid connections for production email sending. Save the public sender identity and private connection details in Settings > Channels > Email.
Secrets stay hidden
Private connection details are accepted only in setup and rotation forms. After saving, Wepy shows masked identity and status information instead of returning the secret.
Check and control the connection
- Save the connection with a recognizable internal name.
- Run the connection check before selecting the sender in a campaign.
- Set a messages-per-minute limit that does not exceed the provider account limit.
- For SendGrid, configure the Wepy event webhook shown for that connection if you need delivery and engagement updates.
- After rotating private details, run the connection check again before sending; Wepy removes the previous verified state until the replacement passes.
- If a connection is disabled, use Turn on and check. It stays disabled unless the live provider check succeeds.
Safe troubleshooting
Do not paste sender credentials into support email or screenshots. Report the connection name, status, page, and approximate time instead.
