Availability and ownership
WhatsApp destinations are visible in every signed-in Wepy beta workspace. If operational access is not enabled, those pages explain what will be available without opening live WhatsApp data or offering connection and sending controls. Your business owns the Meta Business account, WhatsApp Business account, sender number, templates, provider billing, and message charges. Wepy connects and operates that customer-owned account; it does not sell shared WhatsApp credits.
Connect a sender
- Open Settings > Channels > WhatsApp in an enabled workspace.
- Create a 6-digit Meta two-step verification PIN and keep it in your business's password manager; Wepy uses it for phone registration and does not store it.
- Start Meta signup and sign in to the Meta account that administers the intended business.
- Choose the customer-owned WhatsApp Business account and sender number, then finish the Meta flow.
- Confirm that the WhatsApp Business account has the customer's own eligible Meta billing or payment method; Wepy does not attach a shared credit line.
- Wait for Wepy to verify the provider connection and sync the sender identity, quality, messaging tier, and number state. Meta senders also require the subscribed webhook; Twilio senders do not use that Meta-only check.
- If the workspace has more than one number, confirm which connected number is primary before creating a campaign.
