Prepare a CSV import
- Keep the header row and use supported contact columns such as email, phone, first name, last name, and status.
- Keep one import to 50,000 rows or fewer. Split a larger directory into separate reviewed files.
- Create required custom fields in Wepy before importing values for them.
- For an enabled WhatsApp workspace, use whatsapp_consent_status and whatsapp_consent_evidence only from your own permission records. SUBSCRIBED requires a saved phone number and specific evidence.
- Choose an optional destination List when the imported contacts should be grouped for a campaign.
- Choose Review import, then check the background preview counts and bounded row issues before confirming. You can leave the page and return through Imports & exports or the Activity Center.
Job history boundary
Import and export history stores job status, counts, and bounded error details, but not raw contact rows. Private source, plan, and export files expire after 24 hours by default, so download a completed export before its shown expiry time.
What import Undo can remove
When Undo is available, it removes only contacts created by that import that are still unchanged and have no downstream activity. Updates made to existing contacts are retained, and Wepy reports anything it could not safely remove.
Export the directory
Exports run in the background and can be limited by List and contact status, with current custom-field values included when selected. Enabled WhatsApp workspaces also receive the latest WhatsApp consent status and evidence columns. Download the private file when it is ready, before it expires, and store it only where your team is authorized to keep customer data.
